About Liah Liao - a self taught anime artist of 18 years
An avid artist with a deep passion for anime and manga, Liah has honed advanced skills under the guidance of graduates from Kyoto Seika University, the world's only dedicated manga university.
Graduating as the Dux of Visual Communication Design from Haileybury Girls College in 2023, Liah achieved the VCE Honour Roll with an impressive raw mark of 43. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Design (Digital Media) at RMIT, Liah also represents first-year students on the Student Staff Consultative Committee (SSCC).
With a strong foundation in both traditional and digital media techniques, from pencil drawing to digital art, Liah is dedicated to helping students achieve their creative goals by sharing valuable tips to bring their artistry to life.
Aspiring to pursue a Master's in Manga at Kyoto Seika University, Liah is currently studying Japanese at the Japanese Language School in Melbourne to meet the language prerequisites.
Liah is keen to share her expertise in anime and manga tutoring.
